Working field:

We are looking for a Working Student in Accounting and Finance who is eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our mission of providing businesses with fair and instant access to capital. This role offers a unique opportunity to support our financial operations and work closely with a dynamic team in a fast-growing company.

As a Working Student, you will assist in various accounting and finance tasks, such as month-end closing, financial forecasting, and financial reporting. Additionally, you will support broader finance functions with special projects, providing valuable insights into strategic financial planning and decision-making processes. Your work will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, helping us maintain a strong financial foundation while driving growth and innovation.

If you are a motivated student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the company's financial records, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records

  • Participate in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts

  • Support senior team members with financial analysis, reconciliations and budgeting topics

  • Ensure compliance with German GAAP, tax regulations and company policies.

  • Perform payment runs and manage cash flow forecasting

  • Respond to internal and external finance requests

  • Support with operational debt financing process

  • Handle ad hoc requests as assigned by management

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in finance operations

Requirements:

  • Currently studying Finance, Accounting or a comparable education/qualification

  • High level of accuracy, good analytical skill and attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Office and G-Suite

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with accounting software and knowledge of local GAAP/taxation regulations is a plus

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in German is a plus
